Case Study - Sandstone waterfall on large pond

The waterfall pictured below was constructed from matured sandstone over a 4 week period on a large 50,000 gallon pond. The pond itself is meant to appear semi-natural dispite being built using the conventional block and fibreglass construction method. The waterfall is constucted using a series of concrete steps which are fibreglassed prior to the placement of the stone. The pools of the waterfalls are then rendered and fibreglassed to waterproof the feature and this creating a natural look. The planting is far from finished and more photo's of this large pond will follow soon...
